KICKUP Note Terms of Use

1. Operator and service

KICKUP Note ("Note") is a football record and reflection service provided by NOVA STRATEGY COMPANY LIMITED ("we"). You can keep records, goals and past reflections. A KICKUP Online lesson contract is not required to use Note.

Note is offered in Japan and Thailand, in Japanese and English. Availability in Thailand does not mean a Thai-language interface.

These terms apply to Note. Use of KICKUP Online is governed by the KICKUP Online terms.

2. Who can register (contract holder)

The person who registers and enters into this contract is the "contract holder". The person whose records are kept is the "player". They may be the same person or different people.

The contract holder must be an adult under the law of their country of residence: 18 or older for residents of Japan, 20 or older for residents of Thailand.

An adult player registers as the contract holder themselves. A minor player is registered by a parent or legal guardian ("guardian"), who becomes the contract holder and consents to the player's records being handled in Note. We do not accept registrations made by minor players themselves.

When registering, enter your country of residence, the contract holder's date of birth, and whether the records are your own or those of a child you are registering as a guardian. We keep the entered information and the consent together with the version and time of these terms. Guardians should explain the use and sharing of records to the player in age-appropriate words.

We may suspend registrations that do not meet these conditions or that were made with false statements.

3. Accounts and family use

KICKUP Online and Note share one account. If you have an Online account you can sign in to Note with the same email and password, but starting Note requires a separate confirmation of the conditions in section 2 and separate agreement to these terms. Consent given to Online is not treated as consent to Note.

In a family account, family members who use the same login can see the records of the players registered on that account. Sign out when you finish using a shared device.

Keep your password private. If you suspect use by a third party, change your password and contact support.

4. Records and sharing with coaches

The content and original wording of records belong to the person who wrote them. We handle records only as needed to provide Note and to deal with incidents and misuse.

Sharing with a coach starts when the contract holder enables sharing and chooses a start date. During the assignment, the coach can see saved regular records and goals that meet the sharing conditions. Free notes, drafts, AI conversation history and private notes in KICKUP Online are not shared.

When sharing is stopped, the coach's access to the shared data ends.

5. AI features (optional)

AI is an optional paid reflection aid for players aged 13 and over. Players under 13 can use free records only; their records are not sent to AI. A guardian registers and consents for a minor. Separate agreement to the AI Use and Data Notice is required before AI use. Basic records remain available without AI. Features marked as being prepared are unavailable.

AI answers can contain mistakes. For important decisions and for injury or health matters, check with a guardian, a coach and, where needed, a qualified professional. AI never replaces your original wording or goals automatically.

6. Fees, payment and changes

Regular records, goals, past records and basic data export are free. The paid plan for players aged 13 and over includes AI chat, suggestions to organize original text, two-record comparison, saving personal insights, and weekly and monthly goal reviews. It costs JPY 990 per month in Japan or THB 199 in Thailand, including tax, per player. PDF reflection sheets are excluded. Free features remain available after cancellation. Each player needs a separate subscription. AI usage limits are displayed before purchase.

Paid features start only once the conditions for offering them are in place. At that time we will publish the disclosures required in each country (for example the Japanese Act on Specified Commercial Transactions) and let you confirm the player, the store, the monthly price including tax and the renewal conditions before purchase.

Payment is through the App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android and Stripe on the web. A purchased or restored entitlement is bound to the player it was first bought for and cannot be moved to another player or family.

To stop automatic renewal, use the management screen of the store you bought from: the App Store or Google Play for store purchases, or the Note subscription screen for web purchases. Deleting the app does not stop a subscription.

For duplicate purchases or refunds, contact support with the store, the player and the purchase time. Never include passwords or card numbers in a message. Refunds follow the conditions of the store and applicable law.

We will announce changes to fees or paid features in advance in the app or by email.

7. Ending use and deletion

Ending Note and deleting the whole shared account are different. Ending Note alone does not delete KICKUP Online contracts or reports. Both can be requested in the app or through support.

After a Note closure is accepted, use, sharing and AI processing stop and the main data is erased without undue delay, normally within 30 days at most. Limited information that must be kept by law, and backups, are handled for the periods described in the Privacy Notice.

8. Prohibited conduct and restrictions

Do not access other people's accounts, post content that infringes others' rights, harass anyone, interfere with the service or register with false information.

Where necessary for safety we may restrict or suspend use or give guidance appropriate to the situation. If you disagree with a restriction, contact support; we will review the circumstances and reply.

9. Liability

Note is provided as is. Outages of networks, devices or external services (App Store, Google Play, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel and others) may make it temporarily unavailable.

Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages up to the fees we received for the player concerned in the preceding 12 months. Liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law is not limited by this section.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when necessary. We will announce the effective date and content in advance in the app or by email. Changes that are disadvantageous to contract holders require renewed agreement.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. If the contract holder is a consumer in Japan, mandatory Japanese consumer protection law still applies.

Disputes are first addressed in good faith through support. If not resolved, an action may be brought before the courts permitted by the law of the contract holder's country of residence.
